This initiative is crucial in addressing the unique health challenges faced by the Deaf community using British Sign Language (BSL) in Wales. Our involvement ensures that the specific needs of Deaf individuals are prioritised, and we aim to enhance accessibility to health services through tailored health education and improved communication methods.
This project represents a significant step towards bridging the health inequality gap by providing health information in BSL and facilitating better interactions between healthcare providers and Deaf patients. We believe this collaboration will foster a more inclusive healthcare environment and improve overall health outcomes for our community.
